My name is Rambo, I have been in the Amazon Tour guide business for over 29 years. And am one of the oldest and most reliable jungle tour operators in the region!
I was born in 1964 in Careiro Amazonas near Manaus. I have an Indian family and as a young boy I learned hunting, fishing and survival in the jungle.
When I was 18 years old I joined the Brazilian army, where I stayed for four years and served the CIGS (Centro de Instrucao de Guerra na Selva – Education Center for Army Operations in the Jungle). The intensive army training plus my Native background was an ideal background for my career as a professional guide.
As a differentiation to the ordinary tour operators. I specialize in individual tours to the “real jungle”, using my professional, army experience and contacts with the native Indian tribes.
My objective is to bring over the spirit of the Amazon and nature showing the way of life of the local people and tribes.
